2 Corinthians 6:2 “For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Paul quotes from Isaiah when she says “in a favorable time I listed to you, and in a day of sal;cation I have helped you”.

Then Paul brings the Church to the current day. And he says this NOW IS THAT TIME,.

Our church has been on an incredible journey. In every sense our church‘s story to this point has been nothing but simply a miracle story.

Do you believe in Miracle STORIES?

Well in 2015 Jill and I and your young family moved down from New York City deciding in our hearts that this was the place and the city and the time that God would have us come here and start something NEW> at first only a bible study with a few people and see what developed and OUT from that Healthy, Small place we brought About a VISION we believed that God had given us to PLANT a Church that was to become COLONIAL CHURCH.

From there we held a gathering…. Called….. creatively “THE GATHERING”

from there we had more gatherings….. Pumpking Church, Lewis Auditorium, Pionner Barn, The Armory….. and FINALLY HERE at SR207.

The Journey has been one constantly FUELD BY A GOD-VISION.

And in 2018 we stepped into a BRAND NEW FACILITY here at 550 SR207.

It’s all been FUELD BY A VISION WE BELIEVE IS FROM GOD:

“OUR VISION IS TO BUILD AN EXCITING, VIBRANT, BIBLE-BASED CHURCH WHOSE FOCUS IS JESUS AND MISSION IS THE WELCOME PEOPLE HOME”.

And this YEAR: as we’ve begun to get established, six years on, I believe God is saying NOW IS THE TIME.

The same thing we see the Apost Le PAUL tell the early church in Corinth

NOW IS THE FAVORABLE TIME> NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.

HERE ARE OUR “FOUR FOUNDATIONS” THIS VISION SUNDAY --- THIS YEAR ALL STARTING WITH THE THEME “NOW IS THE TIME”. EVERY SINGLE ONE CAN BE A PERSONAL DECLERATION FOR YOU AS WELL. AND YOUR FAMILY!

1.NOW IS THE TIME TO GO DEEPER.

Deeper in the Word, Deeper into the depths of What GOD HAS.

Check out this verse in 2 Corinthians. Paul is speaking of the SPIRIT’s work.

and this is WHAT GOD IS DOING IN OUR HOUSE. He’s taking us DEEPER into HIS Purposes:

1 Corinthians 2:6–13 (The Message)

6 We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it’s not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. 7 God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don’t find it lying around on the surface. It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest—what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. 8 The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross. 9 That’s why we have this Scripture text:

No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this,

Never so much as imagined anything quite like it—

What God has arranged for those who love him.

10 But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you.

The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along. 11 Who ever knows what you’re thinking and planning except you yourself? The same with God—except that he not only knows what he’s thinking, 12 but he lets us in on it. God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us. 13 We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions. We didn’t learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we’re passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way.

NOW IS THE TIME TO DEEPER AS A CHURCH - TO DRIVE DOWN THE STAKE, TO GROW DEEPER AS DISCIPLES OF JESUS AND LEAD PEOPLE IN THAT WAY.

GROWTH IN RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

GROWTH IN FAMILIES

GROWTH IN MARRIAGES.

2.NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE MORE GROUND.

Now is the time to take more ground. To inherit more of the land.

To drive out the enemy like Joshua did in Canaan, but this is now a spiritual battle. It’s time to take more ground.

Now is the time to BELIEVE for More ground.

TO SEE MORE SOULS WON INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. and ADVANCE the PURPOSES OF GOD

The is the Acceptable time,

We believe (as the VISION for the CHURCHC) this is the RIGHT TIME to be ADVANCING

3.NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE AN IMPACT.

Now is the favourable time to make an impact in our commuinity. We dont big note ourselves, thats not our heart - but our heart is for there to be a NOTICABLE CHANGE for Jesus

For salvation to come to people

For whole families lives to change.

For Generations to literally BE CHANGED FOREVER because our Church had an impact.

(Impact fee;s: why? because there is a change).

4.NOW IS THE TIME TO GET THE WORD OUT //

Matthew28:18-20

Matthew 28:18–20 ESV

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The vision of our church is to go and win souls and turn them into disciples (talmadim) of Jesus Christ.
